Thaumatec Launches "Accelerators" to Help MedTech Teams Move Faster on Compliance and Security
Thaumatec just added a new section to its website called "Accelerators." The company builds HealthTech software from offices in Poland and the Netherlands, working with MedTech and digital health teams on IoMT cloud services, AI-driven product development and innovation consulting. The six new Accelerators are meant to help those teams with the stuff that usually stalls projects: regulatory compliance, cybersecurity, system integration and technology leadership. Each one is built around a clear outcome, using frameworks like IEC 62304, IEC 81001-5-1, QMSR, HL7 FHIR and GDPR Article 9.
Here's what the six Accelerators cover:
- Cybersecurity Baseline Assessment: you get a threat model, an SBOM and a CVE monitoring plan, ready to slot straight into FDA or MDR technical documentation. Built for RA/QA leaders and CTOs getting ready for a regulatory submission.
- Audit Readiness Sprint: checks your documentation against IEC 62304 and IEC 81001-5-1, then a live session with an expert to walk through the gaps before a notified body or FDA audit. For QA/RA managers and engineering heads with an audit already on the calendar.
- Design and Development Accelerator: pre-built Design & Development File templates aligned to QMSR and IEC 62304, so engineering teams can start building compliant from day one. Aimed at engineering leads and founders at early-stage or newly regulated MedTech startups.
- FHIR Integration Fast-Start: an architecture blueprint plus a working Sprint 0 connection to EU hospital and EHR systems, built on HL7 FHIR and GDPR Article 9. For CTOs and tech leads connecting with European healthcare providers.
- CTO as a Service: senior technical leadership two days a week, covering roadmap planning, hiring and architecture decisions. For founders and CEOs who don't have a permanent senior tech leader yet.
- Technology Due Diligence: a structured review of the codebase and documentation across five workstreams, built for investors and acquirers sizing up a HealthTech company's technical foundation.
Each Accelerator gives teams a clear starting point instead of a big open-ended project, and Thaumatec offers a consultation to help figure out which one fits.
