Associate Scientist – Gastro-intestinal simulations and analytics

ProDigest is a leading preclinical service provider specializing in in vitro simulation of the gastrointestinal tract for the food, feed, and pharmaceutical industries. To support the continued growth of our laboratory, we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Associate Scientist – Gastrointestinal Simulations & Analytics to join our team.

Your Role

As an integral member of our laboratory team, you will contribute to both customer-driven studies and internal R&D projects by supporting the planning, execution, and reporting of experimental activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform gastrointestinal simulation experiments using ProDigest's proprietary in vitro platforms.
• Apply a broad range of molecular, microbiological, and analytical techniques, including DNA extraction, qPCR analysis, gas and liquid chromatography, spectrophotometric assays, flow cytometry and other biological and analytical methods
• Support the daily organization and efficient execution of laboratory activities.
• Process, analyze, and document experimental data.
• Report results accurately to scientists and project managers.
• Contribute to maintaining high-quality laboratory standards and procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor in science or graduate biotechnology and chemical technologies (TSO)
• Entry-level position, no experience required
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills. 
• Results-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn. 
• Accurate, organized, and detail-oriented, while remaining flexible and comfortable managing multiple tasks. 
• Good working knowledge of English. 
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
